The Cologne Graduate School in Management, Economics, and Social Sciences (CGS) offers one three-year doctoral scholarship in the WiSo faculty’s Key Research Initiative “Demography & Social Inequality”
WHEN / WHERE
Three years, starting October 01, 2021.
By joining the Key Research Initiative “Demography & Social Inequality”, the doctoral scholarship holder will be integrated in one of the highly vibrant and international research networks at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo).
The scholarship amounts to 1.365 € per month. The scholarship is awarded for a maximum period of three years and is tax-free.
The course program will start in October 2021. During the first year, students will take part in courses on multidisciplinary methods and theories, as well as subject-specific courses. Courses are taught in English. During the second and third year, students mainly conduct research and work on their thesis.
Organizers are inviting applications by highly qualified graduates from the Social Sciences (that is, Demography, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology) or other related fields of study. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) or be very close to completion.
