CFP for an online Symposium fo early career scholars in the Digital Humanities, University of Basel, July 9 and 10 2020
Deadline for proposals:
As many conferences and other events are being cancelled or postponed, we want to arrange an online symposium in the Digital Humanities as an opportunity for early-career scholars to share their project progress and interact and engage with peers. It is set to provide an open space for discussing ways of evaluating merit and usefulness of digital tools and methods in ongoing projects.
It is organized by four early career scholars of Old Norse Studies but is by no means limited to this field. We welcome contributions from early career scholars of all fields who consider themselves and/or their projects as being in the domain of digital humanities.
As an interdisciplinary symposium it is supported by the Seminar for Scandinavian Studies and the DHLab at the University of Basel.
We aim for an informal exchange of ideas and welcome short abstracts for 20 Minute presentations of your ongoing projects as well as ideas for round table sessions.
Please send your submission to Sven Kraus (firstname.lastname@example.org) by June 8.
The date for the symposium is: July 9 and 10
All information concerning the practicalities and final program will be e-mailed to participants and others interested shortly after the June 8 submission deadline.
