What: This is an open call to seek papers for an edited volume with a preliminary title A Transnational Account of Turkish Foreign Policy focusing mainly on non-state actors’ role in Turkish foreign policy.

Topics:  Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following transnational actors’ role in Turkish foreign policy:

  • Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
  • Multi-national corporations (MNCs)
  • Diaspora and migrant communities
  • Global media
  • International financial institutions
  • Lobbies & Advocacy networks
  • Criminal groups

The editors are interested in both thematically and historically formulated accounts of Turkish foreign policy based on a transnational framework. (Chapters specifically dealing with energy companies, refugees & migrants, human rights groups, and non-state actors regarding the Cyprus issue [1960-70s and/or 2000s] will be given preference).
